1. What is ICTI?
Global toy buyers have announced through the International Toy Industry Association (ICTI) website that from January 1, 2006, those who fail to comply with the International Toy Association's Code of Business Conduct will be refunded, including Mattel, Hasbro, and Jump.世界, Lego, Funrise, Radica and other world famous toy buyers.
It is understood that the ICTI Code was introduced in 2002. The audit covers factory information, working hours, wage compensation, forced labor, disciplinary practices, discrimination, factory facilities, general environmental health and safety, and welfare. The three principles are: no need for child labor, no forced labor, no prisoners; no gender, no race, no religion, no community ownership; factories adhere to environmental regulations. Although the ICTI Code is industry-specific and does not have any mandatory requirements, if companies want to enter the international market, especially the US market, they should automatically operate according to the requirements of the Code. Since 70% of the toys sold in the European and American markets are produced in mainland China, the International Toy Industry Association first focused on the mainland.
2, icti training - apply for icti certification procedures:
1. Submit the COBP Certification Review Application Form to ICTI. ICTI has an application from the International Toy Industry Association Asia Company in Hong Kong, located in the Federation of Hong Kong Industries;
2. Pay the application fee and the annual fee for the first year to ICTI;
3. Submit an application for factory audit to an ICTI-accredited auditing agency;
4. Engage the counseling and consulting company for counseling and prepare for the pre-audit;
5. The auditing agency conducts on-site audits;
6. The auditing organization has passed the audit and submitted to ICTI. Finally, the ICTI COBP certification certificate is issued by the association;
7. According to the results of the ICTI audit, it is divided into A, B, C and observation period certificates, and different certificates have different follow-up time.
3, icti training - ICTI certification advocates toy factory to adhere to the three principles:
First, "three no use" - no child labor, no forced work, no prisoners;
The second is "four no restrictions" - no gender, no race, no religion, no social affiliation;
Third, the factory complies with environmental regulations.
Non-member companies are engaged in the production of products for member companies. The relevant supply contracts must also stipulate that the supply companies must adhere to these three principles.
