The SA8000 standard is the world's first international standard for emerging management systems that can be used for corporate social responsibility management system certification by Social Accountability International (SAI). The standard is based on the International Labour Organization Convention, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The standards cover child labour, forced labor, health and safety, freedom of association and collective bargaining, discrimination, punitive measures, working hours, and wages. And the requirements of the management system in nine aspects. Its purpose is to ensure that corporate social responsibility performance and management capabilities meet the social and stakeholder requirements for corporate social responsibility.
