Introduction to ISO/IEC20000 IT
 ISO9000 is a company-level management standard, CMMI is a research and development management model, ISO20000 is an operation and maintenance service standard, and the three focus on different activity areas. After consulting and certification, an enterprise management system is formed. Among them, the 22 processes of CMMI and the 13 processes of ISO2000 all contain the same process--configuration management.
Do some simple comparative analysis:
1. Scope of service. ISO20000 supports the other 12 processes of the standard itself, and CMMI supports the other 21 processes of the model itself;
2, the service object. ISO20000 mainly supports operation and maintenance activities; CMMI mainly supports research and development activities;
3. Configuration item definition. ISO20000 is mainly divided into three categories: hardware, software, and network links. It mainly refers to the information of hardware network devices. As a configuration item, it is included in the CMDB for management. For example, process program files such as event management and problem management are not included as configuration items in configuration management; CMMI is not specifically described as the scope of configuration items, but the scope is broader. All items included in configuration management are called configuration items. , but mainly includes: documentation and source code;
4. Configuration and changes. In ISO20000, configuration management and change management are independent but related processes; in CMMI, configuration management includes change management, and change management is an integral part of configuration management.
5. About configuration auditing. ISO20000 emphasizes the consistency of physical and configuration information, focusing on physical objects, while CMMI's configuration audit checks the correctness of documents, consistency with system requirements, document and code compliance, etc.
6, configuration benchmarks. Both have a standard (baseline) definition, a baseline definition in 20000, such as: the standard configuration of the new machine, CMMI defines the document, the version of the product, the concept of configuration does not mean the same meaning;
7, about the version. CMMI emphasizes the concept of version and version management more than 20000;
8. Configure process activities. The two are basically the same, including planning, identification, control, and auditing;
