The Global Apparel Production Social Responsibility Principle is the core principle of the Global Apparel Production Social Responsibility Certification System. The purpose of the system is to require companies to independently monitor and ensure that products are produced under legal, human and ethical conditions, in line with social responsibility standards. Retailers joining Global Apparel Production Social Responsibility voluntarily agree that they and their supplier companies must pass the Global Apparel Production Social Responsibility Certification in accordance with the above criteria.
