Quality control seven major methods
1. Also known as the new and old QC seven tools (manipulation), are summed up by Japan. After the introduction of the old seven tools and the success of the Japanese, the Japanese introduced seven new tools in 1979. The old QC seven methods focused on statistical analysis. In response to the improvement after the problem occurred, the new QC seven methods focused on the analysis process, mainly to emphasize prevention before the problem occurred. The reason why it is called "seven kinds of tools" is because the ancient Japanese warriors often carried seven kinds of weapons when they went out to fight. The so-called seven tools used seven kinds of weapons.
There are of course more than seven useful quality statistics management tools. In addition to the old and new tools, the commonly used tools are experimental design, distribution map, shift map, trend graph and so on.
2. The seven methods of quality control are commonly used statistical management methods, also known as primary statistical management methods.
