Production target
1. The lowest amount of waste (zero waste). JIT requires the elimination of various causes of irrationality, and each process is required to achieve the best level during the processing.
2. The lowest inventory (zero inventory), JIT believes that inventory is a proof of unreasonable production system design, uncoordinated production process, and poor production operations.
3. The shortest preparation time (zero preparation time). The length of preparation time is related to the batch selection. If the preparation time is zero and the preparation cost is also zero, it is possible to use very small batches.
4. The production lead time is the shortest. The short production lead time combined with the small batch system has strong strain capacity and good flexibility.
5. Reduce parts handling and low handling. Part feeding and handling is a non-value-added operation. If the number of parts and assemblies can be reduced and the number of handling is reduced, assembly time can be saved and problems that may occur in assembly can be reduced.
6. Machine damage is low.
7. The batch size is small.
